New Ruppersberger Ad Hits Airwaves

(Timonium, MD) –  A new ad for the reelection of Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger hit Baltimore-area airwaves this morning and will run until Election Day. The 30-second spot called “In the Middle” features Maryland businesses, seniors and veterans and encourages voters to support the Congressman’s end-game platform of solutions over extreme ideology.

The Congressman is running for his 11th term representing Maryland’s recently-redistricted Second District, which includes much of Baltimore and Carroll Counties as well as a portion of Baltimore City.

“This ad is in keeping with my long-standing tradition of positivity on the campaign trail – it’s about what I bring to the table without the unnecessary name-calling and partisan cheap shots we see so much of in political ads today,” Congressman Ruppersberger said. “Like most Americans, I don’t care about making headlines or getting credit. I just want to get things done.”

In the ad, Congressman Ruppersberger touts his record of finding common ground on issues like the economy, education and public safety. Earlier this year, Congressman Ruppersberger was named a “Common Ground Champion” by the Common Ground Scorecard, a nonpartisan nonprofit focused on uplifting candidates who seek agreement and solutions through listening and productive conversation.
