PRIDE MONTH: Tell McConnell to Take Action to Secure Equality for the LGBTQ Community

Will you sign Dutch’s open letter calling on Mitch McConnell to take action on equality for the LGBTQ community?

Majority Leader McConnell,

The Supreme Court recently ruled that employers cannot discriminate against LGBTQ workers on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. That is a step in the right direction toward equal rights for the LGBTQ community, but LGBTQ Americans still don’t have full protections under the law. They could be refused critical health care or evicted from their homes just because of who they are and who they love.

The House advanced a measure that would codify full protections for LGBTQ Americans, but it’s awaiting your action in the Senate.

I ask that you take urgent action on the House’s measure to secure full equality for the LGBTQ community.
